Ong Jmal is a wonderful location that owes its name ( camel’s neck) to the shape of the rock that stands majestically on top.
In full sand dunes in the middle of the desert stands the fantastic lunar decor of the famous movie STAR WARS. Everything is still as it was in the movie. You can walk around as if you were on another planet among the characters and their costumes.
It also includes the Chott el Gharsa, a saline depression generating mirages … and Mos Espa, the hometown of Anakin Skywalker (the future Darth Vader).
